Moving to washington please read

Post by Ytown25 » Tue Nov 15, 2011 11:20 pm

Hey everybody, I'm in the navy and I'm moving to Washington in January (silverdale). I've never been to Washington I'm originally from south Carolina. I def want to bass fish in Washington. I really want to learn as much as I can cause I eventually want to fish in tournaments. Im only 20 so i got alot to learn still. I don't have a boat but I got tackle and gear. I'd be interested in joining clubs or if anyone needs a bass fishing partner. Or tryouts for a partner. I'm just very passionate when it comes to bass fishing what else is there to do in south carolina. Thanks for any info I appreciate it. Feel free to pm me also.

There are 2 or 3 other Navy men in that area. Maybe you all can get together and talk and fish together. I don't remember their names/handles so hopefully they will come on here and read this thread. Just check in often and something will turn up by or around spring, which starts from March to June in this state, never know when it's going to acually start. lol

Be sure to check out the lakes index for topo maps of lakes in your area. Along with info on those lakes.

I don't know the lakes in that area so I can't really help over there. Same with a club over there, there has to be one, someone else will have to help with that.

Check here for clubs in that area;

e-mail Russ here and maybe he knows of a good club over there;

Limit Out Marine/Russ will be having some seminars there sometime this winter, maybe you can make it there for a couple of them.

Lots of lakes around here (Kitsap, Mason counties) that hold bass. I fish from a float tube and do quite well. If you need any info on any of the lakes, hit me up. Welcome to Washington.
