I am new to crappie fishing. Just wonder whether late March is a good time to catch crappie and where is a good place in King County to catch crappie.
Thanks
Where to fish crappie in King County?

Re: Where to fish crappie in King County?
There is a website which for some reason I cannot come up with right now.... Do various Google searches for Washington state crappie lakes, etc. etc. "Slab King Lake Union" etc. etc..
This website gives a break down of the 5 top crappie lakes according to the website author. I can tell you that Larson lake, located over in East Bellevue, has a lot of crappie. I do believe they are quite stunted though. Just check the reports history under lake reports on this site.
Also you can go to: http://www.crappie.com/crappie/archive/ ... /f-41.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
some good info. here. You may have to fish just a little out of King county though. Cassidy lake up East of Everett can be a decent crappie lake, and much prettier than most King County lakes.
Here is the link I meant to send: http://www.angelfire.com/pro/slabking/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ( it appears that this link/website is being updated.... usually you can click on each of the Washington lakes that it mentions, and get good info.)

Larson lake has lots of good sized crappie in it aswell as bass. Now is a great time! I use a small black and yellow jig about 1/32 and a small float.

Nice, may have a try on the lake this weekend.
Any tips on fishing at the lake? Both bass and crappie can be my targets
