Looking to get my Cannon downrigger repaired. I see according to the Cannon website the only people up this way that repair them is Anglers Choice, has anyone had any experiences with them good or bad? Thanks

I had a minn-kota repaired by them and they did a great job. I was quoted one price over the phone for the repair job and when I went in to pick up the motor the price was $40.00 higher than the original phone quote because they forgot to add in the labor costs over the phone. Just make sure that you get a full quote for the job before you have the work done...

They also repaired my Motorguide wireless trolling motor (under warranty). So far as I know they do good work as my motor works correctly most of the time, the wireless system seems awfully sensitive to RF interference.

Motorguide told me return shipping would be paid under warranty. When they finished with my motor, Walt called to tell me motor was ready for pickup. I reminded him Motorguide said they'd cover the shipping tab on warranty repair and I wasn't driving 650 miles to pick my motor up. Of course, we had that conversation when I dropped the motor off (was in Tacoma for the weekend anyway) but he had forgotten. Still a nice guy and I'd do business with him again - by mail or freight.
