Komo is calling for 1" of rain this weekend!! i'll take it

Post by drysuperfly52 » Tue Oct 09, 2012 11:54 am

Mother Nature might give surprised, water-logged Seattleites a break on Saturday evening and night, but then smacks us good with what is looking like a very wet storm Sunday coupled with a second one on its heels for Monday. These two have tapped into a bit of tropical moisture and could be pretty wet. In fact, early models suggest roughly 1.00-1.25" of rain in total Friday-Monday accumulation in Seattle. That would be more rain in four days than we've seen since the first of July through now.

I think at this point, even if it is too much its better than too little.. if the rivers (mine especially) blows it will come back down and be better than it is now.. fingers crossed its just the perfect amount.. [thumbup]

This Time last year we were slaying them but the river was around 7,000fcs

The Stilliguamish is the lowest I have ever seen it. No flow whatsoever. Lower river is packed with fish from dark black boots to chromers too with not a damn place to go.

I'll take it! Rain is going to put the season back together. Those fish in the Stilly are stupid camped out and lockjaw. Too many fish, not enough water.

thinking about taking a day off next week midweek too..

depends on how much rain, if it rains solid for 5 days though ??? heavy rain? could be some blown out issues..

either way its a good thing!!! as the swell comes down its gonna be good!

If it rains too much there is always other places to fish. places like with eggs and a float up north if you know what i mean.
