Springers 2013

Post by RiverChromeGS » Sat Jun 08, 2013 6:39 pm

Figured i would make a real post for this instead of doing it under the opening day thread

Although the huge push of fish has moved on, and things are back to normal, we are still catching some awesome springers. Picked up 3 nice kings today, first fish of the day was my clients first ever salmon, a mid 20s monster springer on diver and eggs. Got a jack and a beautiful wild one as well. Fun morning!

Fishing reports say the skagit has been slow. Little do they know they were just fishing behind STONECHROME! Rippin lip on every fish in the river. Nice video Danny!

Very nice! Seems like a better year for springers then we have had in the last couple years. Hopefully the fall run will be just as well.

nice, you got those springers on lock down haha. Anyone doing any good around the eddies or mouth of the cascade. can't wait to go back up there unfortunately it won't be until the end of the month but I got nooch and cowlitz summer runs to look forward to before.

Picture of that first fish, we hit that hole early in the week. If it's the same hole it is really deep and fast.

I would say more near where the main current meets the side channel, then about 50 feet up the channel
