34lb Spring/Summer King Today
Caught my biggest Springer/Summer king in a river this morning. Buddy showed me a new hole on a new river and wham. Native so had to release, but we got measurements and it taped out a 34.5lbs. Fought this monster for over 30 minutes before tiring him out on 10lb test steelhead gear

10lb test, bet that was quite the fight, I would think I had a record steely on until it surfaces.
Re: 34lb Spring/Summer King Today
Not samish, he said its a new river lol. I know Danny's not new to samish lol
Fishing isn't a hobby, It isn't for fun. Fishing is life.
Re: 34lb Spring/Summer King Today
And it's got to be a river that's open for kings, but not native kings. I bet it's in Canada. Not too many options around here yet. From the looks of it, it's been in the river a while too. Hmmm.... You know when you post photos like that it just makes me curious.

Dude, I totally get it. I knew there was a salute, but couldn't find it, lol!
Anyway, we are going to hook up. I want to get my teenage son dialed in to a river salmon/Steelhead.
I've wanted this for a long time. We will be in touch.
