Reiter Tomorow

Post by DannyL » Thu Nov 21, 2013 8:01 pm

So we are hitting sky bright and early. Hows it been fishing? I would assume water levels are down on Sky and Wallace. Should be something in there. Better than Cascade at least.

Also Reiter is at 5,640 I assume thats a good level to fish at.

No signs of winter fish? That big rain should have brought some in.

I have heard conflicting reports. One guy I talked to said he saw one winter fish and a handful of sum runs pulled out yesterday, and another guy said he saw several winter runs pulled out. Its still fairly early though, but I expect we'll get a good push during the next high water.

I'll post a report later today. I've been reading the reports and it sounds like there are fish there. Maybe we will hook into one or two.

Had two hookups this morning, one just about to the bank then came off. It was a nice bright winter. Other one not sure what it was cause I never saw it. Couple headshakes and it was gone. About 10 guys on reiter side and 6 on the hwy side. So there are fish there.

that sucks losing the one at the banks but sounds like a fun morning since it seems like you weren't out there very long. what did you hook up on?

Very Very slow day today at Reiter. There was on fish hooked in the A.M before 8 and that was it. The water was perfect and dropping. Plenty of bodies came and left, the bald eagle was looking for fish as well. The next big rain should bring in winter fish, the summer fish are picky and have been pounded all summer. Any day at the river beats working though...
