Yellow Lake
This is a small pond (1-2 acres) near my old house in the Klahanie development near Pine and Beaver Lakes. Sam Kafelafish, you probably know this one. I first found this lake when I was four years old in a daycare type thing at a park, and waddled off and found it on a small path in the woods. I haven't fished it lately, but someone my dad knows brings a canoe out there consistently and catches tons of 10-12" bass.

RE:Yellow Lake
Ya i live close to yellow lake but i dont live in klahanie. I was just there yesterday checking out the dock cuz i was interested in fishing there maybe with an inflatable. If its only about 10-12 inch bass then maybe ill pass... A good secret lake close by yellow for trout is laughing jacobs lake. The RBT come from beaver lake i think and swim down the stream and get stuck and grow huge. Don't try to fish there tho unless u know someone who lives on the lake cuz its completely private. I happen to know the people who own property on most of the lake so i can fish there whenever i want. I think there is bass too but ive never tried.

I grew up in Issaquah. I believe yellow lake got it's name from the way it was formed. It was a low spot in a gravel pit where we rode motor bikes and had keggers. You never buy beer you just rent it. Sorry we wouldn't have fished there then. Now?????

RE:Yellow Lake
I've been out on the dock several times, pitching spinners and crankbait in and around the lilly pads and logs that are reachable from there, SKUNKED every time. I've got about $20 invested in Yellow Lake to date (spinners caught on the logs).
I haven't ever seen anyone out there in a boat and was wondering if it was allowed, sounds like it is. What part of the lake do the bass hang out in? I'm going out there tomorrow a.m. to giver another shot. Hopefully it's not just casting practice AGAIN.

Back in the day........early 60's, the only driveable access was down the powerline road and a left turn to the lake shore. I caught some very nice trout then, on single eggs. Now it's all houses...............

I fished that little lake many years ago from a canoe. I was looking for bass but caught none. Did catch a small trout.
