First non ice fish for 2009

Post by fishaholictaz » Thu Mar 05, 2009 10:51 am

Went to work this morn. and 4 people including me were let go#-o So I headed to the lake and fished for about an hour drifting a worm and bobber on 1 pole and bottom fishing a night crawler / power egg on the other. First cast with the bobber landed this 18 in. rainbow buck. They are looking to spawn:cheers:

I fished until the snow and wind drove me out:eye:

Sorry to hear of the let go from work.
But I gotta admire your fortitude. When the chips are down/have fallen, lets go fishing.
Wishing you the best in your endeavors.

This economy is really something else... sorry to hear you were let go.

Way to salvage the day though! Great looking first trout of the non-ice season!

Do you think you might come back here?
Look for Wannafish A Lure on FaceBook

He said, “Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some.” When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish.
