My reservations are made. MAN, am I looking forward to this one. I'll be in spot #45, from Thurs afternoon till noonish on Sunday. I hope to see lot of us there. I know you will enjoy the lake, and the peaceful surroundings. I was told there is still 16" of snow on the ground, so everything should be very green by the time we all get there. Bring firewood if you can. This is going to be great.

Count me in Joe, but I'll be commuting like Marc. It will be fun to get out there for a day! Looks very peaceful...If you need any items brought for a BBQ at the lake let me know.

Lotech: Could you gather a list of people you know are going and add it to your post on the first page? Maybe 2 or 2 lists, Confirmed, Maybe, and Day Visit.

15 people so far. I'm counting you as a maybe. The list is on paper and I'll see if I can post it after work today.

Lotech,

Count me in. June 20th. And maybe during the week if I can get off of work. I will have a seat in the boat for someone who can show me how to catch some trout. Caught a bunch at West Medical a few years ago. But something tells me that those planters are fools compared to the wild ones in Marshall.

Lotech - I'd love to go, but the lake is too small to take my boat, and, well, that's what we bought it for. You guys have a great time. :bball:

Sorry guys, I got my info screwed up somehow. Don't know why, or how, but for some reason I though this lake was limited to non-motorized boats.#-o

Will have to rethink, and take a look at the schedule to see if we can make it. Can anyone confirm if there are cabins? My wife's not real big on tent camping, so, we'll have to see how that plays out. :-"

Sounds like it would be a great weekend if the weather is nice.

Phil,
Here's information on the resort.
Marshall Lake Resort
1301 Marshall Lake Rd.
Newport, Wa. 99156
Phone; 1 (509) 447-4158
You could call them and ask them directly. If they don't have cabins or trailers for rent, you could always get a motel room in Newport. It's only 6 or 7 miles away.

Hope you can make it,

We're in, unless something unforeseen comes up, but it will probably be a day trip or overnight Friday to Saturday. Might sleep on the boat, there's plenty of room.

I'll be up there Saturday morning, probably about 8 a.m. I'll get about 5-6 hrs. of fishing in and then I will have to head back into town. That evening is my 40th High School Reunion and I am one of the organizers. I haven't seen but a couple of classmates since graduating. It should be an interesting evening seeing old (literally) friends:bigsmurf: .

Looks like a possibility of 22 people so far. This is going to be one great outing. No games yet, no prizes yet, just a wonderful relaxing weekend.
