I notice a fair amount of people who say that have posted pics. in their reports.... but then say the pic. didn't load?
I am wondering if people are doing the process correctly? I blew it the first time myself. As a reminder,, once you have hit the Browse tab, and located your pic. from your computer.... then you must hit the upload tab. Otherwise you haven't really loaded anything. You should actually see the pic. within the little window in your report b4 sending.
Just a thought, since I love seeing pics. in people's reports.

RE:A reminder on posting pics?
thanks, good reminder. I've noticed the same issue. It would be too much work to track people down and have them send the pics so we are posting and when the person notices no pic and contacts us we then get it and add it to the report.

But... What is the proper size for the pictures? I get a message saying mine are to big.
Yeah, I'm a Cupcake! Better that, than dry and stale like Biscotti!

RE:A reminder on posting pics?
I'm pulling a size out of my hat, but I would say around to under 500kb. For sure today's digital pictures that take 1-3mb file sizes are WAY too big for the internet, even with high speed. That level of detail is just not needed for casual sharing of pics on the web. For example, when I add lake pictures (see the most recent Fresh Bait for a list of lakes with pics) I drop them into a "medium" resolution range of around 500kb and a size of 1200x900 pixels. I'm using Adobe Photoshop which I got bundled with Adobe Premier for video editing. The bundle was $90 at Frys, very reasonable. But there are a ton of programs out there, some free, that will do the basic job of resizing.

I have posted up some recent pics, and I have seen the pics up, but when I go back in my post, I see an "x."
