Just wondering if anybody else saw this story. I seen it in the Republic paper it was released and was not an official weight ill try to get the paper from work or get a pic of the story to post

Wow, congrats to the guy that caught it, that's a big fish! Did it come out of Curlew? Looks like he was night fishing. They do that alot back in the Midwest I've been told. Did he take it in to get it cerified so he can take the record? I hope so.

Well the paper was gone from work.#-o But that is the fish from in the pictures. The paper said it was caught at curlew lake by a guy who lives on the lake and it was released so there was no official weight taken. I hope somebody will see this and have so more info then the paper gave.
p.s. the guy said the reason he didnt get an official weight was he didnt want to put Curlew lake on the map.

A little late for that, putting it in the news...

Huge good looking fish, glad it was released!
