Dictrict 9 movie

Post by Mike Carey » Fri Aug 28, 2009 11:20 pm

Anyone see this movie yet? I took my son this evening. Really great story and very well done, in the documentary style. A real "summer popcorn" movie in the best sense of the term. Gotta love ugly aliens!

Havent seen it yet mike, is it really worth the money of admission. I was kind of skeptical at first.

Yeah I loved this movie and I am looking forward to a part 2. I do have to say that it wasn't I was expecting and even my wife who doesn't like alien movies like it.

I liked it for it's morality perspective, and things blowd up real good. :alien: There absolutely will be a part 2 - someones coming back...

What movie is worth $10 these days? After treats it cost my son and I $30. Which is why I only go to a few movies a year. I prefer NetFlix for my movies now. But, yes, this was one I didn't mind paying to see on the big screen.

I would have to say that I wasn't into the movie......it wasn't a bad movie at all.......just not what I am into. I would say this though.......if you have a small tv then it might be worth seeing in the theater.

Ya, I'd rather take the $10 for parking and go fish Lake Washington.

I'm glad this movie was reviewed by you guys. I was wondering if my wife and I should go see it. It sounds like most of you and your spouse’s liked it. So, I will take my wife this Saturday to see it. Mike you are so right. Going to the movies is a big time RIP OFF but, it's fun. It will be a cheat day for me as far as eating goes, so I think I will enjoy a large pop corn, and may smuggle in some candy for the wife. Not paying 4 bucks for milk duds! Thanks again for the review.

Funny, you know I love movie theater popcorn. Nothing worse for the old arteries.
