Hi folks!
My name is Adam and I rebuild fix, lube, etc. Abu Garcia reels. Namely 4500-6600 series. I can add line guide bearings, replace parts etc. I also sell some used ones that I have rebuilt. Right now I have 5 6500C3 upgraded to C4 (4 bearings) some 5500 5600 etc. Let me know if your looking for something or need some help. I will be happy to do what I can. Fair prices as it is my hobby and I have no overhead!
Thanks Adam
Im in Bothell/Mill Creek but frequent a lot of fishing spots -Edmonds Pier right now until we get some fishing going.

Good to know Thanks. My 4 favorite reels are 2 each 5000 Ambassadors and 2 each 6000 ambassadors. The 5000's are for drifting and the 6000's for trolling.I have many reels but those are my favorites.
When youre up to your rear end in alligators, its hard to remember that the initial plan was to drain the swamp.

Yes, the older reels are great - all the Abu's I fish with have been super reliable and last a good long time. I know there are some pretty expensive reels like Shimano that are great also - you just cant beat the value you on a maintained Abu Garcia. I fix a lot of different brands, so far the highest demand is for the Abu bait cast reels.
Just so ever one knows I do a lot of through the mail repair, still pretty darn cost effective when compared to in shop work. As long as I have the parts, I only have your reel for 1-3 days the rest of the time is in transit. If your local to the area around Mill Creek, I can meet up with you too.
