I never said I got a 20lb coho even though I have released only 1 before and I have seen a few definitely pushing close to that. Me and my dad have caught numerous 15-17lb coho, a lot on smaller streams too, this year my biggest is only 14 with a few other 13s and 12s. lots of 10s but average is 8-9lbs. No 20s but the season isn't over yet [biggrin]

Some of the silvers out of the Hump have been downright monstrous compared to these tiny little buggers from the sound. Although we need some rain to bring in more of the shiny.

I can attest to that. I think the smallest silver I saw on the Hump was 10 lbs or better. Big fish in that there river.

But by looking at the color on that cohuna I do believe it is Nate's stringer!!!

Caught these saturday on blue fox spinners size 4 orange body silver blade and also drifting corkies. :salut:

I have heard of that fish and that is a great specimen of the giant Bluefin coho! Very rare, meat firm but pale.
