I've about given up on this season. I do have some caribou hair that I think I'll try in that pattern. Caribou lands on the water like cottonwood fluff. It's a great material, but fragile.
Where you go is less important than how you get there.

Gotta love the elk hair caddis, my all time favorite is the parachute adams. For nymphing the bead headed pheasant tail is my choice followed by the classic hares ear.

All of those are very productive flies and fairly easy to tie.

Nice fly Marc. Looks a lot like the Henry's Lake or Lenard's leach that is popular in Eastern Idaho. A little heavier on the hackle, but pretty much the same design.

I assure everyone here, Marc's fly WILL catch fish.
