Lake for quick boat test?

I'm considering putting my little 14' aluminum boat (trailered) up for sale. I was thinking it would be nice to put it in the water and make sure all is in working order. I have no reason to believe that it isn't because it has been properly stored and well cared for, but it's not been in the water for years.

I'm in the Woodinville/Bothell area and I'm looking for a lake with launch that has a dock. I've never been to the Lake Stevens launch but I assume it has a dock? I also suspect it's super busy this time of year with skiers and such...

I could also use a no-motor lake as well if there is one with a dock?

Suggestions would be much appreciated.

Lake Stevens has at least two launches. There's a WDFW launch right in the town that has a dock and launches into a rather sheltered area so perhaps not a lot of skiers right there.

Blackman's lake is a little mellower than Stevens, depending on where you exactly are coming from.

Here is a great website for finding saltwater and freshwater launches. It give the ramp condition, dock or no dock, parking info, costs, etc.

I use it a lot.

Click on the small map then zoom in to the area you want. Fill in the small check boxes on the left to show what you want to see. Next click on the "Identify" button at the bottom of the map and then click on one of the triangle symbols on the map for details about that facility.

If you zoom way in you get a good satellite view of the ramp.
