Dissatisfied with the WDFW

Post by kayak chris » Mon Apr 27, 2009 7:27 am

I so am completely dissatified with the WDFW. From the unlimited sale of Deer and Elk tags (both in state and out of state)to the allowing of the 'Good Ole Boys' (the ones that poached hundreds of big game animals accross 3 states) to hunt legally again after three years. The WDFW list the biggest fishing opener of the year, April 25....but are the regs available? NO!! Want to see the new Weekend Report to see what's happening? Sorry, they will post it when their ready...forget the due date.

I just don't get it....but what I do get to see is the quality of our hunting and fishing experience expotentially declining.

Am I the only one??? Am I just being a little #!*ch??:-({|=

What specific changes have you seen? The regs manuals are designed to be 2 year manuals now, so you will see fewer of them released. Its pretty costly to make one annually unless they start charging for it.

What other concerns do you have?

Hey Gisteppo,
I have read many a post and report, from fishing to making boats, that you have made. I have family on your lake and fish their often.

Most of my angst revovles around hunting issues and hence the 'off topic.'

On the Manual: Make it at least available online, by the "opener." It is my opinion that is wrong not to have a manual available on the most fished day. 2 year....great. Still ya need to have one in your on the opener. IMHO

I should retract my fishing portion of my statement. Other than Salmon, there really aren't any negatives. Hatchery programs are strong.

Still want my other hunting concerns?

Maybe I'm missing something, but the fishing regs pamphlet goes in effect May 1st, so having it for the opener wouldn't matter anyway. The current reg pamphlet is valid through April 30, 2009. :bball:
