I fished Eloika for the first time in late Fall 2006. Lots of weeds, but decided to go back in Spring. I fished Eloika April 14, 21, and 28, 2007. Decent fishing all three times and dinner was great all three times.

I was after Crappie, Pumpkinseed, Trout, and Bass. April 14, 2007 caught Perch and Bass. April 21, 2007 caught Brown Trout, Bass, Bluegill, (only one) Crappie, Northern Pike. April 28, 2007 caught Perch, Bass, Bluegill.

I caught fish using worms and tried powerbait (not enough to say it was good or bad). I caught the most fish using Rebel crawfish, Dardevle, and Mepps spinners. I can't say it was all non-stop action, but it was good fishing.

April 14 and 21 it rained a bunch. April 28 was WINDY. No crowds, no jet skis, no ski boats when I was there. Jerry's Landing on Eloika is great; good people and a great spot.
