Eloika Fishing Reports
Eloika Lake (660 acres): Perch, largemouth bass and crappie in the spring and fall are the best bets at this year-round fishery, located 7 miles north of Chattaroy off the Newport Highway. A few 4- to 6-pound largemouth bass will be caught, but because it takes 8 to 11 years for them to reach that size, many anglers voluntarily practice catch-and-release. Some brown trout yearling plants are made, and a few eastern brook trout and crappie are also available. public access south of Gray's Landing.
