Went to Eloika today to hit some crappie with my son and father in law. We saw quite a few boats limiting out on crappie but we could not get into the school. My father in law caught 2 crappie and lost one (released). Then after I was totall frustrated my father in law said why don't you bass fish next to the launch in the pads. That's when I hooked into these two beauties! (2lbs 8oz, and 1lb 4oz. Both caught on Senko worm silver colored. Set the hook and had what I think was a better fish but it got off after a couple cranks. All in all a great way to christen the new boat and I can't wait to get back out there. I feel like if I fished the pads all day would have caught 10-15 bass.
