Nothing like evening bass fishing mid week to break up the work week! Me and the Mrs headed up to Eloika after work to take advantage of the outstanding weather we've been having. Got on the water around 6 pm, and found the parking lot full with at least a dozen boats out! We headed north and hit some of the lilly patch's, my first 3 cast's were fish on! All around a couple lbs, the wife did about the same, we had 5 in the boat in the first 30 min! Tried some docks, cat tail edges and reed patches and only got a couple dinks, so we headed over to the east side lillies. Pulled in a few more, biggest being 4 1/2 lbs. We boated 12 fish in 2 hrs, another succesful outing. Used mainly Zoom Trick worms and Lizards in and around the lilly edges. Gotta love spring time Bassin!
