Jefferson Fishing Reports

Mason County’s two Jefferson Lakes are located about 7 miles NW of the East Hood Canal shoreline town of Eldon. The larger Jefferson Lake covers about 11 surface acres and lies at 1800 feet of elevation. The smaller lake covers about 3 surface acres and lies at the same elevation. The reference book, “The Lakes of Washington” states that Eastern Brook, Rainbow and Cutthroat trout have been planted in the lakes in past years. Bob Johansen - 2010
