Went to Patterson for the first time last Saturday, needed a break from the chaos at Pearrygin. Between 5 anglers we caught 7 fish, all off the bottom using a variety of power bait colors.

Most of the action seems to be on the south end of the lake. Three trout, all 14 inches and the one that got away was about 16 inches long. We were using power bait about 6 feet off the bottom.

This is the second and last time to try Bass lake with no results. We tried Crank bait, plastic and live worms, power bait on the bottom and spinners with not even a nibble.
