Caught four bass with in two hours. Used a jerk bait to catch one, then a red Rat-L-Trap. Caught them in the mid level, just above the weed line. Saw two huge catfish, but didn't catch them.

5 lb. bass, probably was on her bed. She hit it hard and earlier in the day I had a hard strike. Worked a crawdad slow.

Speed burnt a plug just above weed level, about 6 feet, and caught one bass about a pound. Other were using plastics and caught a few. Because of cold snap and snow that fish were tight lipped.

The state had just released fish into the ponds an hour before I got there. I was trying to see if there had been any bass hanging around, when I hooked into a triploid. It was about 3 pounds, I hoo...
