Thank you. I seen that post on wdfw site too. But all dates says 2014. So I thought that is for last year. I just from my neighbor and wanted to confirm.

I didn't notice that on the first link -HULI_ISDA wrote:Thank you. I seen that post on wdfw site too. But all dates says 2014. So I thought that is for last year. I just from my neighbor and wanted to confirm.
The second one shows plantings up through 10/5/15, and I assume will be updated as they plant.

Re: winter stocking
Remember there is always the mob scene at Beaver, in Nov. if you want to do that. (Triploid plant)
Re: winter stocking
Oh I see. Mah bad... Yup Quad, heard about beaver playing every year thanks
Re: winter stocking
I could've sworn I heard on the outdoorline podcast that Beaver lake was closed for planting today, and opens up tomorrow for fishing.
Re: winter stocking
The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) will release the fish on Oct. 14. To facilitate fish planting, the agency will close the Beaver Lake access site at sunset on Oct. 13 and reopen the site at sunrise on Oct. 15. Beaver Lake, however, will remain open to fishing while the access site is closed

Re: winter stocking
AKA access through the park across the lake. Walk in only with what you can carry.

Re: winter stocking
There stocking plans are frustrating. They they were to stock Five mile on the week of October 13. We are already past that week. I really wanted to catch fish this weekend.
Re: winter stocking
Noelneevee, try hiking into low elevation subalpine lakes, something out of the way and desolate, should do well for cutthroat or brookies if you know where to go for them. Bobber/worms, spinners/spoons should work well. Fall is great time to fish for fry stocked/wild trout.
You could also try fly fishing in selective gears rivers/streams especially if its far and inconvenient to get to(the harder it is to get to, the better usually).. thats better than waiting for a stocking truck in my opinion. Its been pretty warm this year, you may still be able to fish at 3k elevation.. id stick to 700ft-2000ft elevation though.
If you have a boat lake bosworth in granite falls will be garunteed limits for everyone on your boat. Troll wedding rings, wooley buggers, carey special, dick nights or a plain worm on a hook weighted or weightless. Easy limits.
