These lakes are right next to my house and I have fished them tons of times. my favorite lake is lizard. I pack a raft up the incline trail and go out to the little moss islands out in the 2 acre lake and fish of them using nightcrawlers (that's about the only thing that the fish bite) You catch a lot of brook trout this way. I have fished up there over twenty times and always land at least one brook of 12 inches or over. The largest was about 13.5 inches. The lake is about 3 miles north of Blanchard. Max McNett

Snohomish County’s Loma Lake is located about 6 ½ miles NW from Marysville. It covers 21 surface acres, reaches depths of about 28 feet and lies at an elevation of 465 feet. Fish species include rainbow and cutthroat trout, largemouth bass, crappie and pumpkinseed sunfish. Public access is provided by the Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife. The large access area has plenty of parking space, a pit toilet and a solid gravel boat launching area. Lone Lake (92 acres): Occupying a broad meadow area 2 miles southwest of Langley on Whidbey Island, Lone has a large WDFW access on the north shore and is open year-around. Trout fishing can vary widely from year-to-year due to cormorant predation. Table quality of the trout is best in spring and fall when the water is cooler. Use large-fish methods here: salad shrimp bait, leech wet fly patterns, and large lures.

Kitsap County’s Long Lake is located about 3 ½ miles S.E. from Port Orchard. It covers 314 surface acres, reaches depths of only about 12-13 feet and lies at an elevation of 118 feet. Fish species include rainbow and cutthroat trout, largemouth bass, perch, bluegill and crappie. Salmon and steelhead have also been reported entering via Curley Creek. There is public access on the west shore.

Long Lake is in the seep lake area near Othello. If you look on a map of the potholes, Sage Lakes are about 200 ft. from Long Lake and Canal and Teal Lakes are nearby. Heart is just up the road as are Windmill and other walk in lakes. Many of the lakes in that area are connected or next to each other. You'll also see it listed in the warm water species section of this site. Camping and two pit toilets are available at Long Lake. It is connected via an irrigation canal at the North and South ends to Soda Lake (north) and Canal Lake (south). It also includes a good gravel boat launch. Species include Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass, Walleye, Perch, and trout. Popular fishing spots include the road-accessible north shore, and by boat at the canal inlet stream at the top of the lake.

Long Lake (14 acres): Fry-planted cutthroat trout at this fly-fishing-only lake should give those anglers some 9- to 17-inch catches, especially by fall. Long Lake is southwest of Republic in the Scatter Creek drainage and has a Forest Service campground and boat launch. Motorized boats are not allowed.

LOOMIS LAKE IS APPROX. 200 ACRES, HAS A PRIMITIVE STATE LAUNCH AND LIMITED PARKING AND A FISHING PIER. THE MAJORITY OF THIS BODY IS ONLY ABOUT 4 FT DEEP. THERE IS A DEEP HOLE NEAR THE NORTH END THATS ABOUT 14 FT DEEP, THE SHALLOW PORTION OF THE LAKE IS VERY WEEDY. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A WEEDLESS PROP HERE. THE LAKE SUPPORTS A VERY GOOD POPULATION OF LARGEMOUTH BASS, SOME PERCH, AND ANNUAL PLANTS OF RAINBOWS. FISHING PRESSURE IS VERY LIGHT AFTER THE OPENER IN APRIL. Kevin Bradley

Loon Lake (1120 acres): The state record lake trout (30 lbs, 4 oz.) came out of here back in the 1960s, but Loon is better known now for its kokanee. There are also largemouth and smallmouth bass, brown bullheads, bluegill, a few other warmwater species, plus planted rainbow, eastern brook and brown trout catchables. Located 28 miles north of Spokane off Highway 395, Loon has a public access and resorts. Disabled accessibility Level 2. WCT, lgs.

Mason County’s Lost Lake is located about 7 ¾ miles SW from the town of Shelton. It covers about 122 surface acres, reaches depths of about 65 feet and lies at an elevation of 480 feet. Fish species include rainbow trout and largemouth bass. Public access is provided by the Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife. Lost Lake (145 acres): Found about a mile west of Keechelus Lake, this Lost Lake contains kokanee and brook trout. Although brookies average only 9 inches, there are some lunkers.

THIS LAKE IS REALLY NICE TO VISIT, HAS A CAMPGROUND, AND IS PAVED ALL BUT 1/4 MILE FROM THE LAKE. LAKE IS LOCATED ABOUT 30- 45 MIN FROM YAKIMA OFF OF HWY 12 HEADING TOWARDS RIMROCK LAKE. The lake holds rainbows. Dan Richards

Lost (Devil's) Lake (13 acres): You'll find native cutthroat, rainbow trout, and largemouth bass in this small lake approximately 2 miles east of Maltby off Highway 522. Lost Lake has public access on the west shore with parking, toilet and ramp.
