Phillips Fishing Reports

Phillips Lake is located about 8 miles north of Shelton. It covers about 111 surface acres and has a maximum depth of about 25 feet. The public access area is provided by the Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife. The large public access area has lots of parking space, 2 pit toilets and a concrete block boat launching ramp. The lake contains rainbow trout, largemouth bass, yellow perch and bluegill. Good fishing for trout in the Spring and good for perch, bluegill and largemouth bass during Summer and Fall. Watch out for water skiers during sunny, summer week-ends. Bob Johansen
